  3. LASER Printer Controller is a simple program that helps you use the print
  4. options available on a laser or dot-matrix printer.  Originally designed
  5. for the HP II laser printer, but now useful for many other printers, this
  6. program will send what the printer manual refers to as "Escape Codes" to the
  7. printer.  It simply makes it easier to send these codes by way of a
  8. mouse-driven user interface.

  10. For those of you familiar with Text/Disk Editors, there is a user defined
  11. printer option.  If you load the PRNEMU.DAT file into a text editor, you will
  12. find at the bottom of that file a heading for the User Defined codes.  Follow
  13. the format of the previous printer codes to enter any codes you want from your
  14. printer's manual.  Columns 1 to 10 are for the "Control Code", columns 12 to 32
  15. are used to enter the text description of the code you enter.  You can enter
  16. up to 16 codes and you will notice there are dashes left to guide you. Form
  17. Feed is entered for you to see where the last possible code can be, and you
  18. would probably want that one loaded anyway.
